Dr. Suma is a RCI Licensed Clinical Psychologist in India with 6 years of experience. She secured Gold Medal for her M. Phil in Clinical Psychology from Osmania University and completed her MSc in Psychology (Clinical) from Bangalore University. She has worked as Clinical Psychologist in well renowned esteem institutions such as National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Spandana Hospital, RECOUP Neuro Centre & Pragnya Clinic, Bangalore. She conducted tele-conference training sessions for District Mental Health Program Psychologists on various mental health topics and invited speaker for National conferences, college programs, and organizational training. She also worked under the Employee Assistant program for IT companies. She was also a part of the help lines and conducted webinars/counselling for addressing mental health issues of Covid patients.

She believes that therapy is a collaborative process to guide the clients to increase self-awareness, gain new perspectives, decrease symptoms, and increase personal strengths to have a meaningful life experience. She is trained in providing psychotherapy and counselling for a wide array of child and adult psychiatric disorders, emotional and behavioral problems, critical life issues, behavioral & internet addiction, and academic difficulties. She uses an integrative and non-judgmental approach which builds a secure atmosphere and work alliance where client will be able to share, learn, and grow holistically.
