Dr. Saumya A H Udupa

I am a clinical neuropsychologist with over 20 years experience in neuropsychological evaluation and psychotherapy. I specialize in neuropsychological consultation, focusing primarily on adults, children, and adolescents who struggle at school, work, or in the community. I work with people to help them understand themselves, in order to better use their strengths and overcome their challenges. To do this, I use the tools of neuropsychological assessment which includes an interview, review of educational and medical records, and the administration of neuropsychological tests. I also provide diagnostic assessment of patients with neurodegenerative diseases, stroke, traumatic brain injury, and suspected memory problems in aging. As a therapist, I use an integrative approach to understand people’s life experiences and  how it has led them to feel unhappy, or anxious or depressed, or facing any other difficulty leading them to seek therapy.

Dr. Saumya A H Udupa

Clinical Neuropsychologist

M.Sc, M.Phil; PhD [nimhans]

My therapeutic approach is guided by trauma-informed therapy methodologies. I am a certified EMDR and IFS-informed therapist. My aim is to help my clients become more aware of their feelings and patterns of relating to themselves and others in a safe space with respect and compassion. I believe each person has a natural desire to grow and heal within themselves, and therapy is just that – a journey of personal growth and healing.
