Dr. Aditi Singh

Dr. Aditi Singh has finished her MBBS from LTM medical college, Mumbai. She then went on to do her MD in psychiatry from the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore. She has subsequently worked in NIMHANS as a senior resident in NIMHANS for three years which included experience in the specialist Obsessive Compulsive Disorder clinic. She has subsequently joined the M.S. Ramaiah Medical College and Hospitals as an Assistant Professor. She is a strong advocate of promoting mental health awareness as well as positive mental health especially among segments of the community who do not have adequate access to mental health treatments owing to various reasons. She considers herself to be an ally. Her areas of interest include women’s mental health, adolescent mental health, obsessive compulsive disorders and trauma and stress induced disorders. She is a proponent of rational pharmacotherapy and holistic management.
